This week we read and discuss the new novel Melmoth by Sarah Perry. It's a little spooky just to ease you out of that All Horror October hangover.

Our next discussion will be If Beale Street Could Talk by James Baldwin. Get it and read along with us.

Books mentioned: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier, The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe, and A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness.

Podcast Mentioned: Library Talks with Sarah Perry

Bonus Material

In Perry’s Library Talks episode she mentions a classical music piece by Czech composer Bedrich Smetana titled Ma Vlast Moldau. She played it in her school orchestra and loved it and has since felt a sort of connection to the Vltava River in Prauge because of it. I’m not one to typically seek out classical music, but it really is lovely.
