72 - Abigail

This week we read celebrated Hungarian author Magda Szabo’s novel Abigail. Abigail is perhaps Szabo’s most popular work in Hungary, but was only recently translated into English for the first time by Len Rix and published by NYRB Classics. Next up is Dawn by Octavia E. Butler, the first part of her Lilith’s Brood trilogy.
